Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant's latest album is now available to stream on The Irish Times.
Carry Fire, Plant's 11th solo album, will be released by Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records on Friday, October 13th.
Plant's last album was 2014's lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar, and here he is once again performing with the Sensational Space Shifters, featuring John Baggott, Justin Adams, Dave Smith and Liam "Skin" Tyson. The album also features a number of guest appearances including Chrissie Hynde (on Bluebirds Over The Mountain, which was written by Ersel Hickey), Albanian cellist Redi Hasa and Seth Lakeman.
The band kick off a world tour in November 2017, with two dates lined up in Ireland in December. The first is in Belfast's Ulster Hall on December 2nd before they head for Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on December 3rd.
