Belfast is the place to be over the next month, with several interesting events taking place north of the Border. The next instalment of the giftedlive.comseries, which merges live gigs from Belfast's Empire Music Hall with specially prerecorded performance snippets, will take place next Thursday. As always, the gig will be streamed live online.
It will feature sets by Therapy?, Fighting With Wire, Silhouette, Jason Clarke and more. The Original Rudeboys and Mojo Fury are among the prerecorded performers.
November’s programme has also been announced, with Paddy Casey
and Katie and the Carnival playing a free evening session on the 7th, followed by Mick Flannery, Heathers, Jerry Fish, Desert Hearts, Daithí and more playing the main event on the 8th.
The November gigs will take place as part of Belfast Music Week, which runs from the 4th-12th.
Other scheduled events include a showcase of Northern Irish artists such as VerseChorusVerse, Tom McShane, LaFaro, A Plastic Rose, Wonder Villains and more; gigs by Duke Special and Robyn G Shiels; and an Oh Yeah party in honour of Terri Hooley, founder of the Good Vibrations record shop.
