THE Irish Freemason’s Young Musician of the Year competition will run at Dublin’s Freemason’s Hall on October 11th and 13th. An international jury will decide the winner of the event, which is sponsored by RTÉ Lyric FM and honours the best up-and-coming talent in classical instrumentation. Both semi-finals, on October 11th (at 1.30pm and 7.30pm), and the final, on October 13th (7.30pm), are open to the public.
