MUSIC NEWS:Republic of Loose fans will be happy to hear that the band are due to release a new album next month, although it is not strictly new material. Mutant Soulis a compilation of the Dublin band's first three albums and will be released digitally worldwide (excluding Ireland and North America) on December 19th.

To celebrate, they're also giving away a free track every Friday for the next six weeks, beginning today. A download of Golf With Satanis available now from republicofloose.com.

There is also new material on the horizon as the band are currently in studio, and they hope to release their fifth studio album early next year. Frontman Mik Pyro said their next release would be more song-orientated than its “art-music” predecessor. “It’ll be more a classic soul vibe, I think, less of the satanic weirdness – we got that out of our system,” he said.
