Twisted Pepper, Dublin Tomorrow 10.30pm 12/10 01-8734800
Since 1994 Neil Landstrumm’s name has appeared on countless releases for such labels as Peacefrog, Tresor, Planet Mu and his own Scandanavia imprint, an output he’s kept up while also working in the motion graphics game with MTV and Rockstar Games.
Landstrumm has always been known for taking the experimental plunge when it comes to dirty-bass techno. A string of albums ( Lord for £39, Restaurant of Assassins, Bambaataa Eats His Breakfast) demonstrated that he's more than willing to take those grime, crunk, dubstep and garage influences for a bit of a ride as well.
Support for Landstrumm in the basement from Barry Redsetta and Giles Armstrong, and there’s live sets from Hands Up Who Wants to Die and Men Folk on the Stage and Harry Potter like you’ve never experienced it before in the Mezz with Hogwarts as Soon as You Hear. JIM CARROLL
