What's on your rider?Buckfast, vodka, wine, plasters.

What would be on your fantasy rider?Nigel Mansell, gold bears, Pom-Bear crisps, loads of cash and a fried egg.

How do you get to the gig – limo, taxi, walking? We have a rickety van. We've had to duct tape the inside of it recently to cover up a couple of holes. Adds character.

What are your favourite venues?Róisín Dubh in Galway, Spirit Store in Dundalk, Magnet in Berlin. Loads more, but they'll do for now.

Who is the most famous person to have shown up at one of your gigs?Well, there was this one time we thought we saw Keira Knightly at our show in the Camden Barfly. Turns out it wasn't her, but we were pleased to meet this particular woman nonetheless.

Most embarrassing on-stage moment? We supported the Apples in Stereo years ago. We covered a Gerbils song especially for the night as they're part of the same collective, and I made sure they all knew to come down to hear it. As soon as they arrived down I tripped over my mic lead and landed half on the drum kit, half on the bass amp. I think they thought that's what they were told to come down for. They went back upstairs.

Groupies. Would you? They're always about 14. WARNING!!

How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)?Engineer and tech, and obviously several hundred adoring women.

Any useful stage tips?If you're going to wear a short dress, wear shorts underneath it. You'll really regret it if you don't.

What's the worst thing ever thrown at you?A pint. There was a massive queue at the bar and I was thinking would he not have drunk a bit more first and then thrown it?

If you could be in any other band, which one?Rage Against the Machine. Most mornings I wake up curled up in my bed with my fingers crossed hoping that when I open my eyes I'll be a member of RATM. No luck so far. Still trying.

Who's invited to your aftershow party? We're real lazy with getting guest lists together, so just you so far. If you want, like. You and Nigel Mansell. It'll be bangin'.
