Paul Finn of The Flaws
What's on your rider?Nothing too crazy. Sometimes a small packet of Lego and some Kinder eggs. Chocolate is always good.
What would be on your fantasy rider?Oh, a large thing of Lego would be amazing. And just a large piece of chocolate.
What's your pre-gig ritual/ routine?Stress for a few minutes and then relax. Do some body warm-up things. Don't wanna pull a hammie!
What are your favourite and least favourite venues?Gotta give the Spirit Store in Dundalk my props as the best place. I won't advertise the worst place here, though, but it exists.
Most embarrassing on-stage moment?Forgetting words, guitar falling, me falling. Falling is generally bad. I'm very forgetful sometimes.
Chatting between songs – good or bad? It's good if you're good at it, and it's really bad if you're bad at it. Sometimes I can get it right, other times I just come across as a fool.
Groupies. Would you?Nah.
How many roadies does it take to change your lightbulbs (ie, how big is your entourage)? We have an entourage of one – Kieron Smith. The man! I can't leave without him, or live without him, for that matter!
Do you like to meet and greet fans after the gig?If they want to, yeah. It would be weird if I forced myself onto people after a show. "Hey, I'm that guy who just sang a bunch of songs – buy me a drink!"
Any useful stage tips?Move in the space you're given – this is also an important life lesson.
Who's invited to your aftershow party?Everyone who dances, and anyone who can find the place.
