The Spirit of Folk is back with a two-day camping music festival set against the backdrop of Dunderry Park, Co Meath from 19th-21st of September. It's a family friendly weekend which celebrates all things folk with over 40 bands taking in trad, folk and bluegrass.
Headliners across the two stages include Kila, Tupelo, Bunoscoinn, Dan Walsh, Emerald Armada and many more. Alongside the music there's a body, mind and spirit area, drumming workshops, a shaman onsite, astrology and loads of activities for children. A battle reenactment will be centre-stage on Saturday giving an insight into the skills and process used by warriors of old in the design, creation and use of their armory and weapons.
Camping tickets for the weekend cost €70; 12-18 years-old €35. Day tickets are €40 for adults; €20 for 12-18 year-olds. Children under 12 are free.
