WORLD Affairs, a 27 foot bust, designed by the English sculptor Tony Cragg, was assembled in Cork for shipment to the Olympic Games cultural festival in Atlanta, Georgia. Constructed from seven sizes of steel anthropometric figures, designed by English sculptor Tony Cragg, it was built at the Sculpture Factory in Cork by Cragg's long time collaborator, Tipperary born sculptor, John McCormack.

The completed sculpture was yesterday due to be shipped down the Lee, on the first leg of its journey towards its eventual resting place, a crossroads in mid town Atlanta.
