Another reader was quoted €45 (plus VAT and including delivery) for a box of 40 till-rolls, 44mm wide, on ordinary paper, by Retail Business Systems in Dublin. The reader finally bought his till-rolls from Business Supplies in Ballina, Co Mayo, for €19.36, including VAT and delivery. A spokesman for Retail Business Systems said he couldn't explain the huge price difference, and expressed surprise at the low price charged in Co Mayo.
