What you've found . . .
This week PriceWatch received an e-mail from a reader warning that local mobile-phone operators do not always give full details about how much it costs to use your phone abroad.
You should be able to find out from your local operator in advance about every tariff offered by every network in the country you're going to.
This reader's steered her towards just one network - each a preferred business partner and not always the cheapest - in each country she intended to visit.
So don't just accept the first foreign network recommended by your operator: ask about other options and get a break- down of all tariffs.
Then make up your own mind.
