OVER 400 Barnardos children from around the country will be special guests at tomorrow's Irish premiere of James and the Giant Peach at Virgin Cinemas in Dublin. Directed by Henry Selick, who made The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach is a live action/animated treatment of Roald Dahl's book, in which a young boy (Paul Terry) is orphaned and sent to live with two horrible aunts (Joanna Lumley and Miriam Margolyes).

It features Pete Postlethwaite and the voices of Susan Sarandon, Richard Dreyfuss and David Thewlis and goes on cinema release here next Friday (Savoy, Virgin, Dublin).
