The Victorian figured-walnut lady's sewing table is one of the items being offered for sale tomorrow at an antiques fair in Cashel, Co Tipperary. Taking place in the town's Halle na Feile, the event will be attended by some 50 dealers from throughout the country showing a wide variety of furniture.

Among the other pieces at the fair are to be an Irish George III mahogany tallboy, a Regency "gondola" sofa, carved with acanthus leaves and decorated with brass rosettes, an 18th-century gentleman's linen press, along with antique clocks, porcelain and glass, table and bed linen, prints and rare books. Part of the Cashel Cultural Festival, the fair runs from noon until 6.30 p.m.
