Team Theatre Company's strange lunch-hour-long story is about the making of a contemporary artist - or how Goretti dropped out of marketing college and became a sociopath.
To its credit, Shapeshifters understands and conveys the point that artists don't work in isolation, and the play's web of (terrible) relationships is weaved skilfully by a five-person cast. But the ideas, when they're not facile or archaic, are often a bit creepy; and any school debate about the uses of art is bound to fall apart when faced with the awfulness of Goretti's work.
