PUNTERS considering plunging on Large Action for the Smurtit Champion Hurdle should hold fire, the gelding's trainer Oliver Sherwood warned yesterday.

Large Action has already finished third and second in the premier hurdling event - and is a best-priced 6 to 1 (William Hill) to make it third time lucky.

But Sherwood is convinced that Large Action is more effective at longer distances and might switch him to the Stayers' Hurdle.
