Are the arts an essential ingredient of a healthy human diet?" That's the question that panellists and audience will be digesting on Saturday in Clonmel, Co Tipperary. With Kevin Myers (The Irish Times) in the chair, Dutch theatre promoter Hans de Visser, writer and director Conall Morris on and John Hunt, director of the Hunt Museum will all have their say before opening up the debate. The event (Tipperary Institute, 3 p.m.) is part of this week's Junction 7.01 festival, a celebration of touring theatre hosted by Galloglass Theatre Company, and co-ordinated by the outgoing company manager David Teevan. He is going to become a freelance consultant, but will remain as festival co-ordinator if the event is to be repeated next year. Judging by the sell-out performances so far, that seems more than likely.
