Cometh the plan, cometh the consultant it seems, as local authorities, arts festivals and sectoral groups around the country buy in expertise in arts policy and strategy to help them write reports and respond to the objectives of the Arts Plan. Who will evaluate the work of the consultants, we wonder? One such representative group is the Theatre Forum, the network of theatre organisations in receipt of arts council funding, which is looking for someone to research and write a report "to determine priorities and recommend effective structures for development within the theatre sector in Ireland".
