THIS is an important message. Please give art materials to the children of Bosnia Herzogovina. If the recent exhibition of wonderful, paintings produced by the children of the Terezin Ghetto during the second World War at the Ark has had any impact it will have convinced us that children desperately need to be creative.

For the children of Mostar, there must be a future - something the Terezin children didn't have. Meanwhile they have to get into some tongue out painting and drawing, the way every one of us did. Cradle has got together with arts centres all over Ireland to send a Rainbow Truck of art materials to Mostar, and collection will begin, from a long list of centres, next Tuesday.
