Jason Butler and James Dunbar are two of the founder members of Fever ID, a multimedia company in Dublin. They reckon that anybody with a technical mind would appreciate the latest from those makers of little plastic bricks, Lego Mindstorms (£179.99 at Smyths on Jervis Street). Far from being a simple building operation, Mindstorms enables you to construct robots which can be programed through a computer to do just about what you please. Otherwise, one of the new Play Station steering wheels (from £59.99) which judder and shake as you do battle, would go down nicely with any Play Station fan, old or young.
