Will somebody please explain why so many car drivers still do not seem to know how to negotiate roundabouts?
There is one just down the road from where I live, and I usually encounter an incident at it at least once a week.
As I cycle past the first junction, on my way to exit at the second junction, invariably a car comes along from the first junction to get onto the roundabout and sees me only at the last minute.
It has to slam on the brakes - or just does not see me at all - and comes right past me, while I am on the roundabout.
It's incredible. Don't these people know that those coming onto the roundabout must give way to those already on it?
