DEALERS from around the country will be taking part in tomorrow's antiques and collectables fair at Newman House in Dublin. The fair is expected to include a generous selection of predominantly Victorian furniture, together with some porcelain, including 18th century Queen ware and Pearl ware, English spongeware, as well as art deco. In addition, the fair will feature a larger collection of toy soldiers, including first World War souvenir figures. Howell Books of Dublin will have a selection of books, such as a first edition of James Stephens's The Crock of Gold.
There will also be jewellery, linen and lace, prints, coins, railway memorabilia and postcards.
