A selection of Victorian oil lamps, with ruby and milk glass globes and bowls will be among the items for sale at the Dublin Castle Antiques and Collectables fair tomorrow.

A pair of very large Victorian spelter figures, entitled "Hope and Glory" will also be on offer as well as an unusual American mirror-backed inlaid wall clock.

The fair, which opens at 10.30 am. in Dublin's Old Coach House will also contain many items of military interest including a sabre from the Battle of Waterloo, swords, including a collection of decorative Japanese swords, a battle mace dating from the middle ages and several flintlock and percussion pistols.
