A Victorian double drop-end Chesterfield sofa and a mahogany dumb waiter, with a dining-table leaf press from the same period, will both feature at tomorrow's Connacht antiques and collectables fair in Galway's Corrib Great Southern Hotel.

There will be over 50 stands at this event, which opens to the public at 11 a.m. No reproductions will be permitted by the organisers, who promise a wide range of items, including examples of jewellery, painting and prints, coins, stamps, porcelain and china, rare and antique books and militaria.
