Craig Richards
Opium Rooms, Dublin 10pm €12/€8 facebook.com/CraigRichardsTheNothingSpecial
Craig Richards is a man with his fingers in many pies. There are collaborations with Lee Burridge (as Tyrant) and Howie B (as Blunder), as well adventures in the business of releasing music on the Heel to Steel, Nothing Special and Fist or Finger record labels. Most of all, there’s his long-running gig as musical director and resident at London club Fabric, where he gets to define and shape the sound of the space. Support from Tiago Black (Abstract/ Discotech) and the one and only Giles Armstrong.

Bastardo Electrico
Cyprus Avenue, Cork 10.30pm €12/€10 facebook.com/bastardoelectricorecordings
Over the years, we've seen Sunil Sharpe in many guises. These days, the lad who was one of the main movers behind the Give Us the Night club opening hours campaign and the Earwiggle label is probably one of the best techno DJs around. Now a regular on the European techno circuit with dates at clubs like Berlin's Berghain and Paris' Concrete, his recent Boiler Room set, Cadya EP for Transmat and Tinfoil releases mean he's more than ready for whatever 2015 will throw his way. Support tonight from Matthew Flanagan aka DeFeKT.
BASS
The Bug
Twisted Pepper, Dublin 10.30pm €15 facebook.com/TheBugOfficialPage
Last year's Angels & Devils album from The Bug saw Kevin Martin continue the commendably fierce soundtracking he'd kicked off on 2008's London Zoo. When The Bug is truly at large, you get a noisy, restless urban soundtrack where everything comes at the listener at full volume and full of intensity and zeal. He's joined for this Twisted Pepper show by regular foil, London grime MC and Flow Deep rep Flowdan in the main room, while new-school house producer Grades will be showcasing tracks like Crocodile Tears in the other room.

O’Hooley and Tidow
Whelan's, Dublin 8pm €15 whelanslive.com
Cutting her teeth as a member of the Rachel Unthank and The Winterset band, Belinda O'Hooley and her partner Heidi Tidow made Mojo's Folk Album of the Year 2014 with The Hum. A duo whose take on English folk is all their own. Seeing them in this intimate setting promises to unleash the full potential of their latest song set.
