Matador

District 8, Dublin 10pm €20 facebook.com/MatadorOfficial

The good times keep rolling for Dublin DJ and producer Gavin Lynch. The man known as Matador put in the heavy lifting in his native city at nights like 515 and Mixed Salad. In recent years, his twisted, raw techno for Perc Trax, Harthouse, Coocon and Richie Hawtin’s Minus label have put him in the spotlight. The summer, as has become the norm for him, saw Matador play festivals far and wide, as well as more studio work, including remixing Dubfire and Oliver Huntemann. Support from Paco Osuna.

CLUB

Amine Edge & Dance

Wright Venue, Dublin 11pm €20/€17.50/€15 facebook.com/amineedgeanddance

G House has been good for French duo Amine Edge and Dance. Their gangsta house mix of hip-hop and house is a lot more brash and EDM-friendly than the hip-house wave of the late 1980s, with tracks like Halfway Crooks and Going to Heaven with the Good-Goodies finding favour worldwide. They're joined tonight by Dan Stritch, Jade Carney and the FATBOY residents, with Lui Rwego, Troy Sullivan, the Sutherland Sisters and Adam Judge in the Purple Room.

CLUB

Radio Slave

Pygmalion, Dublin 10pm €10

When he's not creating deep nuggets such as Cabin Fever or collaborating with Joel Martin on Quiet Village and Thomas "Cagedbaby" Gandey on MATOM and Seadevils, Matt Edwards flies high as Radio Slave. Between storming shows from Berghain to Fabric and his Rekids label – which gave early doors outings to Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and others – Edwards as Radio Slave is a powerhouse with grand designs on the dancefloor. Support from Will Kinsella and Sexshop.
