The annual animation festival takes place this weekend with workshops, screenings and awards. On Friday, those on the podium include Michele Chiappa from Karrot Animation, Damien O’Connor from Brown Bag Films, Ian Mackinnon from Mackinnon and Saunders and Nelson Lowry from Laika Studios. On Saturday, Tomm Moore from Cartoon Saloon kicks things off followed by a screening of shortlisted films.
