Louise White, an award winner for 2013's delicate and heartfelt Way Back Home, has been exploring alternative performance and installation works for a productive few years, each time finding revealing new ways to convey contemporary experience. Mother You could be her most ambitious work yet, an adventurous response to the state and future of the nation. Set in a disused commercial building, this immersive performance featuring stories, fragments and rituals to be pieced together by the audience.

An end-of-summer stomper is what's on the cards at the A4 Sounds arts collective's studio in the heart of the capital today. Aside from grilled grub and punch, pop parodists and novelty music specialists, Chinstroke Records will be pulling out the stops with croissant muncher DJ Detweiler, power tools balladeer DJ Dadmagnet, Queerhawk and Tek Fritz and Edwin Triumph. All followed by an after-hours bash at Jigsaw.
