The Corkman in Galway's ongoing residency on Abbeygate Street is building a lot of word-of-mouth wows. Daly is someone who produces warm-hearted grooves with much space and depth. Releases on his own Feel imprint, the Sea & Sky album for François Kevorkian's Wave Music lab or the recent Shine EP for Love Fever have marked him out as a craftsman to watch. Expect four hours of quality deep house and tech.

Longstanding US West Coast standard-bearers, the Blackalicious duo have produced many notable cuts since they came together in 1991. Check out albums like 1999's Nia or 2002's Blazing Arrow for examples of how Chief Xcel and Gift of Gab combine rocksteady beats and flying verbals to great effect, while they were also part of the Quannum Projects' shizzle as well. The reason for their visit to town is to plug forthcoming album Emoni, due out in a few weeks.
