In Ormston’s fourth annual Graduate Award Exhibition, Caoimhe Hernon’s work is based on and explores the role of the archive relating to two islands off the Connemara coast, Cruach na Caoile (difficult to access and steeped in folklore) and Fínis. The first is long uninhabited; the second hosts just two holiday homes. Hernon has historical family connections with both. AD
