David Kitt's singer-songwriter work has taken a backseat in recent times in favour of work with David Gray's band and his dancefloor-facing pursuits as New Jackson. His house and techno work in this guise has found favour with labels like Hivern Discs and Permanent Vacation. Kitt is joined for this Galway Arts Festival show by local mover and shaker, Major Problems' label boss, Out to Lunch club resident, A&R supremo and international man of mystery Barry Redsetta.

Hammond organ trio Organics – Justin Carroll on organ, John Moriarty on guitar and Kevin Brady on drums – made plenty of noise back in the noughties, opening for the likes of Gil-Scott Heron and EST, and serving as the house band at the Cork Jazz Festival jam sessions. Ten years on from their excellent debut release, New Light, the group are back together for a special anniversary gig, with guests including saxophonists Richie Buckley and Ciarán Wilde.
