At one point in his lengthy career, Tom Jones was little more than a cheesy signifier for Medallion Man. Latterly, however, the reinvigorated singer has successfully engaged with this R&B/soul roots, notably via his most recent albums, Praise & Blame (2010), and Spirit in the Room (2012). He'll still deliver It's Not Unusual with a straight face, mind.
