Dlr LexIcon continues to mine a rich seam of local talent. This show features five Royal Hibernian Academicians, all with links to the county. Their work is distinctively individual in each case, and more than worth a close look, from Melanie le Brocquy’s delicately observed sculptures to Carey Clarke’s virtuoso realism in still life and landscape. The other artists are John Coyle, George Potter and Imogen Stuart.

London-based Coventry bloke Obaro Ejimiwe blends his background roots (Dominica and Nigeria) with a level of mesmeric spoken word content that is equal parts playful, foreboding, poetic and confessional. We're guessing that his set tonight will consist of tracks from his recently released album, Shedding Skin.

April is the month for celebrating Dublin in its literary glory. This year the Dublin: One City, One Book is Roddy Doyle’s Barrytown trilogy, and quintessential Dubliner Peter Sheridan has put together an ancillary event based on his own relationship with the city. Is there such a thing as Irish humour? Is there such a thing as Dublin humour? Are you havin’ a laugh? Of course there is. Sheridan is a charmer and a brilliant raconteur, who easily proves his own thesis.
