Declaration Of War features among 19 horses to stand their ground for Sunday’s Qatar Prix du Moulin at Longchamp.
The four-year-old was due to run in last Saturday’s Irish Champion Stakes but trainer Aidan O’Brien took him out before as he felt the ground had gone against his charge.
Declaration Of War is one of a clutch of possibles for O’Brien with Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Magician, Jersey Stakes hero Gale Force Ten and American recruit Darwin, although the last-named pair have other options at the weekend.
Richard Hannon has left in both Olympic Glory and Havana Gold with John Gosden’s Gregorian still in the mix.
Style Vendome and Flotilla, winners of the French 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas respectively, could bid for more Group One glory, while Don Bosco, Mshawish, Maxios, Stellar Wind, Top Chill, Dastarhon, Anodin, Shenliyka, Siyenica and Sage Melody complete the list after the first forfeit stage.
