Centre-back Donal Vaughan has emerged as a serious doubt for Mayo ahead of the Connacht final against London on Sunday week.

Vaughan has a hamstring injury and limped out of club championship action with Ballinrobe after just a quarter of an hour last weekend.

Any worry over Vaughan’s availability has been tempered with news that forwards Cillian O’Connor and Mikey Conway have both returned to full training. Both were named for their club teams over the weekend, although O’Connor was an unused sub for Ballintubber.

Conway played in the first-half for Davitts after being on the sidelines for more than two months with a shoulder injury.
