Visual artist Miriam McConnon and Poet Jessica Traynor, at the launch of Lost Lace, a public art installation and poetry recital to commemorate the lives lost to covid 19 in Ireland, at Iveagh Gardens, Dublin.The outdoor installation 'Lost Lace' contains approximately ten thousand white roses made from individual white handkerchiefs. The artist placed the handkerchief roses around a fountain forming a delicate pattern of traditional Irish Lace, with each Handkerchief rose symbolizing a life lost in Ireland and Northern Ireland due to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
