On this special occasion – their 25th Christmas Concert at the National Concert Hall – the Lassus Scholars and Piccolo Lasso, with conductor Dr. Ite O’Donovan, will be joined by the Orlando Chamber Orchestra, under leader Gillian Williams and will be sing Mozart’s Te Deum and Durante’s Magnificat. New research shows that 97% of young people in Ireland are feeling concerned about climate change. The Earth Gala, presented by ECO-UNESCO, took place last Friday night. The ‘solutions focused’ climate justice event gathered passionate young people, environmental experts and policy makers to network and think of solutions to climate justice issues. Drone use has increased significantly in recent years, no matter what their use or purpose, drones raise challenges in both the legal and ethical arenas. The number of drones registered in Ireland has risen exponentially since the IAA introduced mandatory drone registration in December 2015 and more recently the legal requirement through EU regulation.
