Gardaí are investigating circumstances of incident in which the woman died

A woman in her 50s has died after she was pulled from the water at Dún Laoghaire on Monday afternoon.

Gardaí are investigating “all the circumstances” after the body of the woman was recovered from the water at 2:30pm on Monday.

Her body has since been removed to the mortuary at Loughlinstown, where a post-mortem will take place at a later date, gardaí said in a statement.
