A man has died after he got into difficulty while swimming at the Guillamene cove in Tramore, Co Waterford.
Gardaí and other emergency services received reports of two people in difficulty in the water at the popular swimming spot, at approximately 6.30pm on Sunday.
A man and a woman were taken from the water and brought to University Hospital Waterford.
The man was later pronounced dead.
