Saturday: Ready for your close-up? MovieExtras.ie is holding a one-day photo shoot in the Westbury Hotel, Grafton Street, Dublin, today. So far, members have been involved in more than 200 productions from Fair City to King Arthur, earning anything from 70 to €2,000 for a day's work. A photograph costs 59 and gets you on the books of MovieExtras.ie. 11 a.m-7 p.m.

Sunday: The Fiddlers Green Festival is an international celebration of Irish music, arts and culture, which takes place in the pretty village of Rostrevor, Co Down. Monday: Death Disco, the club night beloved of discerning London clubbers, is in the Voodoo Lounge on Arran Quay, Dublin, tonight, with BP Fallon, Johnny Moy and Miss Jaime Coon. Tuesday: Quiffs, cheerleaders, leather, pink ladies; the latest West End production of Grease has everything. Jonathan Wilkes, aka Robbie Williams's best friend, and Pop Idol's Hayley Evetts take on the main roles in the Point Theatre, while You're A Star runner-up Simon Casey also makes an appearance. Wednesday: Stand Up Against Racism returns to Vicar Street tonight with some of Ireland's brightest talents taking to the stage to raise money for Le Chéile. Hosted by Des Bishop, the line-up includes Dave McSavage, David O'Doherty and the Comedy Improv Crew. Tickets 25 from all Ticketmaster outlets.

Thursday: Outlook 2004 is the new name for the Dublin Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. The opening feature at the Irish Film Institute on Eustace Street, Dublin, tonight is Proteus, the story of a black and a white prisoner on Robben Island in South Africa. Check out www.gcn.ie/dlgff/.
