If you fall instantly in love with this beautiful opaque blue glass bottle with its red stopper who am I to blame you?

It’s a beautiful piece of dressing table real estate and it contains the first fragrance from fashion house Miu Miu.

A floral fragrance with top notes of lily of the valley and jasmine it beds down to a warm woody scent.

It puts manners on blackheads and spots with a combination of AHAs, zinc and salicylic acid which work within the pores to clear out all the gunk.

Nivea Men Creme

Forget the fact that the texture of the moisturiser - sorry, MAN cream - within this tin is very similar to the lady version; Nivea Soft.

Just put that thought right out of your head as the addition of an aftershave style scent and stylish navy tin clearly identifies this product as tough and manly. Just as the lady version is very good, so is this.

Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup Compact SPF 29 €49

A lovely light compact foundation which will not overload skin and look heavy.

Buildable coverage, a high SPF and the addition of vitamin E and Argan Oil in the formula mean that this foundation feels light. It is also ideal for touch ups on the go.

Vidal Sassoon Salonist (€13.99)

This at home hair colour works like a professional salon colour and is available in intense colours, making it a good choice for anyone who steers clear of the subtle.

One of my sisters dyes her hair a deep red and always uses home hair colour, but she often gets patchy results. However this product uses a two step process, just like a salon colour which makes the coverage much more even. Apply the colour to your roots first and then bring the colour through the length to get an even finish.

She used Medium Intense Red 5/45 and pronounced the result as excellent.

Aisling Loves ... Voya Angelicus Serratus (€37)

I am fan of Irish brand Voya’s seaweed treats and I have fallen hard for this delicious body oil too.

There are so many nourishing oils in this blend including rosehip and evening primrose which mix with mandarin, lime, clove and lemon amongst others. Not only will your skin be instantly softened you will delight in the fragrance upon your skin all day.
