Plus a crowd pleaser of a perfume and melting honey body treats

Mac PatentPolish Lip Pencil €22

This Mac version of the Chubby Stick is soft on the lips, with a finish that is less shiny than a lipgloss. Available in 14 shades It has a balm texture and is long lasting. It’s also a cinch to apply and although others have complained that it feels sticky I love the texture. .

Maybelline Dr Rescue (from €2.99)

If you regularly abuse your nails, chew them, don’t bother with base coat and pick off polish you’re not alone. Go back to basics by cutting them short and using protective treatments to aid recovery. This quartet is inexpensive and ranges from protective base and top coats to cuticle treatment.

L’Occitane Melting Honey Exfoliating Sugars €27

A delicious, indulgent bath or shower time treat that gently scrubs away dead skin. Shea butter and rare organic lavender honey are also combined in the the companion Ultra Soft Cream. It all smells good enough to eat, so good in fact that I caught one of my cats having an exploratory lick.

Shiseido Ever Bloom (from €53)

I’ve been dying to write about this for ages but because it wasn’t available until now I held fire. This is a light, sophisticated floral that smells expensive. It doesn’t hit you over the head with a scent bomb, it softly surrounds you with fragrance. This one is a crowd pleaser, I can see it becoming very popular.
