I can't live without EMILY JEAN, milliner jewellery designer

La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF 50 I use this every day, all year round. It helps to protect my skin from sun damage, which can cause premature ageing. I live on the coast, which experiences the brunt of the harsh Atlantic weather and this cream is an excellent way to protect my skin from the elements.

Neutrogena hand cream As a milliner and jewellery designer I work with my hands. To keep them subtle and soft I find it essential to apply hand cream regularly throughout the day. I’ve tried many varieties of hand cream but I find Neutrogena is a great and inexpensive option which is quick to absorb, without leaving my hands feeling greasy.

Jogging I love to get out for a run about three times a week. I find this helps to clear my mind, relieves stress and keeps me healthy.

Rimmel Black Liquid eyeliner I think black eyeliner is a great way to look smart without having to wear excessive eye make-up. I like to look my best while working in my boutique everyday and I find this eyeliner quick and easy to apply.

Tasty Treats I’d be lost without my dark chocolate and a good glass of red wine at the end of a long hard week.

Sheer brilliance

Time to get glowing and if you’re wondering just how to go about that, let me introduce you to Armani’s Fluid Sheer, an illuminating primer which gives an instant “lit from within” effect. But that’s not all – you can mix it with foundation for a polished finish, or dot around cheekbones to highlight. The champagne pearls add an understated radiance and the lighter than air texture is available in a range of versatile hues. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without it. It costs €42.50.

Lip service

Suddenly it’s summer, with MAC’s Hey Sailor collection (€18). This upbeat lip shade Sail la Vie has a happy holiday vibe, striking just the right balance. The hint of pink keeps the orange the right side of oompa loompa. To wear it well, keep the rest of your face neutral and skip the blusher.

What's in a name

The elegant French skincare line Nuxe has been winning Irish fans since its relatively recent arrival here. A blend of natural ingredients with a luxe twist – a favourite is the dry body oil, Huile Prodigieuse, available in a limited edition falçon to mark the its 20th anniversary. It costs €31.50.
