Funny how even wines go through the fashion cycle. New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was the smart option a few years back, but the style of fresh, tingling tropical fruit and bracing acidity is now considered passe in some quarters. Not here, however, and this new vintage has that Kiwi kick in spades.
