Brought up in a gang neighbourhood in Honduras, Juan is one of the 20 participants in the Kenco Coffee Vs Gangs training programme giving young people a second chance away from gang violence in rural Honduras.

Here, he recounts the journey that brought him there, the life he faced in his neighbourhood and the friends and family he has lost to gang and drug violence.
