Four art courses for adults take place in Dublin City Gallery – The Hugh Lane next month. In New Perspectives Through Drawing(eight Saturdays, from September 19th to November 14th, 10am to 12pm, €110), artists Felicity Clear and Beth O'Halloran teach different approaches for first-time drawers, while in Life Drawing(same dates, 12.30pm-2.30pm, €110), the same artists explore drawing techniques for life drawing (clothed figures) for those with experience.
Meanwhile, in Aspects of Drawing(Tuesdays, September 15th-November 3rd, 10.30am to noon, €85), John Adye-Curran will explore traditional drawing techniques through life drawing and works from the gallery's collection. Finally, for budding painters, Felicity Clear teaches Exploring the Collection through Contemporary Painting(Wednesdays, September 16th-November 4th, €110), workshops using paint, collage, mixed media and print-making.
