From the neighbourhood that boasts Lilliput Stores, L Mulligan Grocer, Wuff bistro and many more cafes and restaurants – here comes Dublin Kombucha.
Based in Stoneybatter, the microbrewery makes a light, naturally effervescent, non-alcoholic tea drink that is brimming with amino acids, B vitamins and plenty of other good stuff. Based on an ancient Chinese recipe, you can drink it alone or use it as a mixer.
It's already been snapped up by Jo Macken and will be available in his Bear, Crackbird and Jo'Burger restaurants. You'll find it in The Fumbally and Cake Café in Dublin, while Ard Bia in Galway and others are also in line. Dublin Kombucha is also bringing back the old "milk bottle" system with their home deliveries. The four lovely, reusable, glass flip-top bottles come in a wooden crate created by Dublin design studio Distinctive Repetition. Deliveries run weekly and cost from €10 for four bottles.
