Christine Moloney: Exercise and fruit are on her to-do list.

Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle?

Well, it could always improve. I’m a social butterfly and I love being out and about, which means I don’t get enough sleep and rest to deal with my busy life. I certainly should exercise more than I do. I love running, so I really should get back into a running routine. I find it really helps reduce stress and makes me feel much better afterwards – but not during the run.

How often do you exercise?
Certainly not enough. Work and family commitments always manage to find their way to the top of my priorities. Being a single mum has taken its toll on my exercise regime for the past few years.
Do you get your five fruit and vegetables a day?

Vegetables I love, but fruit, well I need to fall in love with that again. 2014 is the year for me, so a healthy lifestyle is a must as I want to live a long and eventful life. More exercise and fruit on are the hit list. Beware world, I'm coming back.

Do you worry?
Yes, an awful lot. It is a genetic flaw. I'm too deep for my own good and I worry about things I have no control over which is ridiculous but I can't help it, as that is who I am. Unfortunately, it isn't great when I'm not exercising enough to counterbalance this genetic flaw of mine.

What do you do to relax?
This is the hardest question of all for me to answer. The short answer is I don't relax but, on reflection, I love my volunteer work with my local community centre, the parkrun in
Macroom every Saturday morning, listening to music, and walking on the beach with my two daughters and my dog.

What's your worst habit?
I can't say no. Maybe I'm weak or I'm a fool. It's debatable.
