This week's product and treatment recommendations with the tip of the week

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK

Chanel Brilliance Lumière, €29 from beauty counters countrywide. Every season, Chanel brings out a limited edition "star product", and this star burns brightest of all. A luminous face fluid that can be used on its own as a highlighter, or mixed with foundation for all-over glow, the shade is perfect and the effect subtle but shimmering. Not too glittery, not to shiny, Brilliance Lumière gets the balance just right. Great for the face, and for adding brilliance to the body, it's a summer essential. Only available while stocks last, so don't leave it too long - those in the know have already made a dent in supplies.

TREATMENT OF THE WEEK

Imaginail Nail Art, from €15 at Nail Zone, Clery's, Dublin 1 (01-8173288). Okay, it may not be classy, but if the urge for airbrushed, fancy nails has always been with you, here's a chance to get the ultimate bling in a flash.

Chose from thousands of designs, place a manicured hand into the device and, voilà, your nails have been decorated to perfection. Whether it's palm trees, cartoons, abstract patterns, or even a photograph of a friend (the machine will scan your own image of choice), the procedure takes less than 10 minutes for both hands, and works on real or false nails.

TIP OF THE WEEK

Lush's fresh face masks are great for boosting stressed summer skin. Top of the class is the Cupcake Biofresh Mask, which, believe it or not, contains chocolate and mint to cleanse, calm and remove excess oil. The Sacred Truth blend combines the anti-oxidising qualities of green tea, wheatgrass and ginseng for a moisturising, refreshing feeling, and the clay-based Catastrophe Cosmetic soothes skin and has a pleasant blueberry scent.

Store these fresh products in the fridge and use within three days as they are free from additives and perfumes.
