PRODUCT OF THE WEEK Imedeen Tan Optimiser, €62.85 from chemists. These capsules contain natural carotenoids (palm fruit extract and lycopene) with vitamins E and C to work with the body in producing a tan without turning you orange. Take one a day for the month prior to sun exposure, and one a day when on holidays. Skin should go the best colour possible, be protected against anti-aging and the colour should last longer too.
TREATMENT OF THE WEEK Mystic Tan, €45 from PerfectTAN, Bloomfield Centre, Dún Laoghaire, Co Dublin, 01-2301672. Twenty four seconds of spray tanning will turn you an even, honey brown, with the right preparation. Lash on the provided barrier cream to fingers, palms and toes, don't shower on the day of application, avoid sport/exercise/excessive sweating.
TIP OF THE WEEK Combine a couple of pumps of Smashbox's Artificial Light in "Diffuse" with your body lotion and apply for a flattering optical illusion. Skin will look smoother and cellulite slightly disguised. Smashbox products from LA are newly-available at Dublin Airport.
