Sherry FitzGerald has announced the signing of franchise agreements with 11 provincial auctioneering firms with 13 offices. The expansion is in line with the group's corporate strategy of setting up a national property advisory service. Sherry FitzGerald is spending £1 million in developing the franchise network, which is expected to have 40 offices within three years.
The company's new franchise offices will be with Prendiville, Listowel; O'Connell, Tralee; Coghlan, Killarney; O'Neill, Skibbereen and Clonakilty; Haythornthwaite, Wexford; O'Leary, Enniscorthy; O'Meara, Athlone; Royal, Trim; Carroll, Dundalk, and Rainey, Letterkenny.
Sherry FitzGerald already has two franchise offices, with McMahon in Ennis and Shannon.
Firms joining the property franchise company will have access to Sherry FitzGerald's information technology systems, marketing support, research and training. Member firms' showrooms and corporate livery will be in keeping with the countrywide corporate livery.
Franchise firms will also have access to the group's entire network including the commercial division of DTZ Sherry FitzGerald.
